On May 18 of this year the Museum of Nature of Armenia held a pan-European event “Museums Night”, which was held as “Museums as Cultural Nodes: The Future of Tradition “.

The “Night of Museums” event was first held in Berlin in 1997. Then  it was widely spread across Europe. Armenia has joined this initiative since 2005 and it has become an important part of Armenian cultural life. The number of these events are increasing year by year, with active participation more than 100 museums in Armenia and Artsakh.
Within the framework of the event, the exhibition titled “Mood” was co-authored by painter Armen Harutyunyan, a member of the Union of Artists of Armenia, participated in international exhibitions, as well as exhibitions organized on the occasion of “Armenian Palette”. The Armenian is the creator of his character, genius in science, crafts and art. And there aren’t few Armenian representatives who have been highly appreciated and admired by their activities both in the homeland and in the world.

Speeches were made by Kh. Dean of the Faculty of Art Education of the Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Abovyan Arayik Hakobyan, Doctor of Economics Armen Zghururyan, writer-publicist Vanush Shermazyan.

Director of the Museum Gayane Ghazaryan greeted the participants and presented a letter of gratitude to Armen Harutyunyan by the State Museum of Nature for presenting a unique exhibition.

Sona Mkrtchyan was also given a thank-you letter for presenting a beautiful exhibition.
