The world environment protection day event was held at the State museum of nature of Armenia.This day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1972.
Minister of Nature protection Artsvik Minasyan issued a public call for the preservation of the environment, for preventing unreasonable use of the environment, promoting sustainable development and reunification of human to the nature.
The event was attended by ambassadors and representatives of non-governmental and international organizations.
During the event Minister aworded certificates a number of environmental issues.
On this occasion WWF Armenia presented  Armenia litter in an interractive map, which was drawn up within the framework of “Clean Homeland” program.
“Exotarium Amazon’’ company introduced exotic animals.
“Easter” Children support center and Shengavit creative youth center students took part in a chalk drawing event.
An exhibition of authors Aram Arekhtsyan and Merujan Mkheyan was also presented.
The event ended  with a treatment.
Then there began a walk from the State museum of nature of Armenia to the Ministry of nature protection, including works of cleaning.
The whole event was with the framework of “ Clean Homeland” program.
